North Lamar International District Fall Festival & Tree Adoption Day: An Official Roots & Wings Pop-Up Event

This event is an Official Roots & Wings Festival Pop-Up Event. Roots & Wings Festival is a two-week long citywide combined celebration of Arbor Day and Monarch Appreciation Day, presented by the City of Austin. More information can be found at: rootsandwingsfest.com

Fall is a wonderful time in central Texas! Please join us to celebrate the beauty of the season with this free, family-friendly, educational event on 11/6 from 11:00 – 1:00 at the NLID Food Forest (1310 Kramer Ln)!

In honor of Arbor Day, we are giving away FREE 5-gallon TREES. Adopt your today! (while supplies last)

Certified Arborist, Jason Derks, will give an expert talk on tree care and pruning and will be available at the “Ask an Arborist” table. Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to get your questions answered for free!

In honor or Monarch Appreciation Day, make a wildflower seed ball and learn all about pollinators.
