Event Details

As we prepare for the regional trail, we will be clearing and completing an inner loop to complement the concrete regional trail. The inner loop will be about the same distance as our existing trail (Approximately 1 mile).

There are 2 sections of new trail that need to be cleared of underbrush/dead trees/invasive growth/etc. The east section is about 50 to 60 feet (just east of the peninsula entrance). The west section is approximately 150 feet (probably 100 feet west of the peninsula entrance).

Volunteers get the satisfaction of giving back and of course, an AWESOME It’s My Park Day t-shirt designed by local artists Kendrick Rudolph and Genevieve Bentz! We will provide tools and gloves but PLEASE BRING YOUR MASK AND WATER BOTTLE and wear work appropriate clothing. We’ll meet at 11938 Oakbrook and get started right at 9.
