Event Details
Many people sense that something is broken in society and feel overwhelmed about what to do about it.
This event is an opportunity for neighbors who live in North Austin to practice seeing our shared humanity as a way of building stronger community from our roots and uplifting one another as neighbors.
We’ll meet near the pavilion at Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Porch Circle (6:30pm – 7:30pm)
We’ll start with a short silent meditation, then break into smaller groups to answer a few simple questions designed to give us a deeper understanding of one another. Everyone is invited to speak from the heart and listen actively.
Picnic & Park Hang (7:30pm – ??)
Bring your own food and blanket for a picnic and free-form park hang! Stay as long as you want. We will have things like frisbee, connection card games and coloring supplies. Bring whatever you’d like to play!
